One of the three programs included in the Express Entry system is the FSW Program. Skilled workers can apply for PR in Canada under this program. It depends on their level of education, work experience, language Skill, and other characteristics.

Eligibility to apply as a FSW Program?

IRCC uses the selection factor points to help assess your eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program.  A minimum of 67 points are required in the following six selection factors.

Along with this essential qualification, other factors to consider are

Language Skill: You must obtain a CLB 7 on either the IELTS or CELPIP language tests.

Education: Completed education equivalent to secondary or postsecondary education in Canada, as determined and attested to by an approved ECA Report.

Work Experience: You must have one year of paid, steady full-time work or equivalent part-time, skilled work experience in NOC codes 0, A, and B over the preceding ten years.

Finance and Employment: If you are not already employed in Canada or do not have the necessary authorization to work there, you will need enough money to settle in the country.

Miscellaneous: Upon approval, your eligibility to enter Canada and your intention to live outside Quebec.

How can I find a place to get my educational credentials assessed?

All foreign academic credentials, including a degree, diploma, or certificate, must undergo ECA. It guarantees their validity and comparability to the Canadian educational system.

The processing time and cost for each ECA-designated organization on the IRCC’s list varies.

Is a Job Offer required for Express Entry?

No, a job offer is not a necessity for moving to Canada. However, having a job offer can always be handy and increases your chances.
